Maricor Borgeaud (aka „Cocoy McCoy“) born on December 4,1966 in Manila, Philippines.
She lives since 1987 with her family in Rupperswil/AG, Switzerland.
She is a freelance Lyricist. Her boundless creativity has led her into writing Lyrics and Poems since 2013.
She has acquired the knowledge through self-taught in creating wood- and concrete arts, writing lyrics and poems; coffee- and acrylic painting.
She took part in different Art Exhibitions in Canton Aargau, which was a great challenge for her.
After a serious accident in 2022, she began with Acrylic painting in 2023.
A year later, she attended a painting course and got the opportunity to meet well-known artists, which served her as a motivation to carry on and was able to continue on her path.
Education for her means experimenting, trying out, have conversations and exchange ideas with artists.
She continually discovers new ways to develop herself and not give up straight away. She says that you learn and improve through mistakes. „Learning by doing“.
There is often a possibility, to re-use used and simple materials; this is her contribution to sustainability.
Finally, her opinion is that, you have to have fun no matter what you do, so that you can attract interested parties.
Along with her hobbies, she loves cooking very much. Here too she gives free rein to her creativity.

Her motto is:
“Even if you have very little, there is always an opportunity to make someone happy.” ~ Cocoy McCoy ~ “Auch wenn man sehr wenig hat, gibt es immer eine Gelegenheit jemanden eine Freude zu bereiten.” ~ Cocoy McCoy ~

It’s all the simple things
What makes it so beautiful
It’s all the imperfections
Which carry on to perfection ~ Cocoy McCoy ~

Es sind all die einfachen Dinge
Was es so schön macht
Es sind all die Unvollkommenheiten
Die bis zur Perfektion führen ~ Cocoy McCoy ~

The picture represents the universe with the darkness, and the stars illuminated by the solar system.
Sometimes it is not possible to create something at the first attempt. Then suddenly the idea of what the picture could represent comes up.
Simple materials and sustainability are taken into account here; a used canvas was recycled and did not end up in the rubbish bin.
