Susanne Beideck – arts@beideck For me, art is much more than a creative process—it is a fundamental form of expression and a way to immerse myself in new worlds. Art allows me to visualize my inner reality and create alternative visual spaces. Without art, I would only be half a person; it has always been an essential part of my life.

My works are a reflection of my personal journey and my passions. They arise from imagination, intuition, and conscious engagement with materials and techniques. The combination of different materials in particular constantly opens up new possibilities for expression and drives my artistic development. The creative process behind my work is open and ongoing. Images and objects evolve as I work—ideas are added, changed, or discarded. This continuous change is an essential part of my approach and reflects my belief that art is a living, constantly changing process.

My artistic career began in the late 1980s when I learned oil painting and simultaneously discovered my passion for pottery. These two media continue to shape my work to this day. In 2022, I brought them together in a new form for the first time by combining glossy resin/epoxy resin with matte, textured clay. This results in expressive works that not only have a visual impact, but also invite dialogue. They open up space for viewers to form their own associations, thoughts, and stories.

For me, art is a lifelong process of learning and growth. With curiosity and openness, I am always looking for new ways to develop my visions and bring them to life. I cordially invite you to explore my works and discover the stories hidden in each individual piece.
