Tatjana Meier was born in November 8th, 1973, in Gay, Russia. During her study at the university of Orenburg she frequented the art course of Nikolai Bojarkin, professor at the academy of art. 1996 she moved to Germany. Living in Leipzig, 2005 Tatjana Meier joined an artist`s group led by Jakov Khesin. Russian classics and impressionists encouraged Tatjana Meier to search for her own artistic language. 2007 she left this artist`s group and improved her art skills by taking part at workshops in Rome. In spring 2008 Tatjana Meier presented her paintings to the public for the first time in a personal exhibition in Leipzig, gallery “Westart”. About 40 personal and group exhibitions, participation at the art fairs and art auctions followed in Germany, Italy and England. Her works are now privately owned in Germany, Russia, Italy and Australia.
