Anna Fennen lives and works in her home country East Frisia, on the North Sea coast.
She has had a passion for painting since childhood.
The enthusiasm was followed by numerous art seminars in Tuscany, Norden, Oldenburg and Leer, as well as private lessons with various artists.
The central image of your works is the experience of light, space, space and freedom.
As different as the color in the pictures is, it is always at the service of the light that is captured in all pictures.
Her preferred motifs range from large-format abstract pictures and landscape motifs to large-format floral motifs.
Her pictures have been shown in many exhibitions at home and abroad.
In 2011 she was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for her social and artistic commitment.
A very special highlight was when the Aurich Castle placed abstract pictures by Anna Fennen next to the old paintings of Prussian kings and ships.
In March 2015 she was awarded the Euro Art Badge in Gold by the European Cultural Area.
In addition, she has been a member of the Kulturring und Kunstkreis Rhauderfehn since 2010.
